The MRO Battalion 1944 Open continues this weekend, and this time, we will not be playing from the comfort of our homes, but we will be on stage at the MFCC in Ta' Qali. We will be facing our first opponent on Saturday morning, the 21st of April, at 08:30am, and it will be none other than Event Horizon (EvH). 

Undoubtedly, the EvH name has quickly become well known in the local community. They are the incumbent champions of the MRO, albeit for a different game and our undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. With that said, although we've already faced EvH in the Group Stages a mere three weeks ago, resulting in a 13:5 and a 13:9 win for us across the two maps, we'd be hesitant to call us favourites, as EvH undoubtedly will have aces up their sleeves ready for the playoffs - after all, their dominance in Overwatch was nothing to scoff at, and they just edged out local Call of Duty 2 champions Ephica in the first round of the playoffs.

Statistically, Eversio is at 103 rounds won versus 42 rounds lost, whilst EvH is at 94 rounds won, and 81 rounds lost, putting the boys in blue at +61, against the boys in orange and black at +13.
